What is
Acting?
Acting explores how characters think, move and speak. Planetdance’s Scene & Song classes use practical scene work, character development, voice and projection, improvisation and stage presence. Students learn to express an idea and respond to other performers.
Where does it come to life?
The same skills can help a child speak clearly in a school presentation, take part in a school play or communicate a character on stage. Improvisation also gives them practice listening and responding when an activity takes an unexpected turn.

Part of Scene & Song. Beginners are welcome, and students may choose Acting, Singing or both. These are additional classes for recreational and troupe dancers, not included in dance enrolment.
